What are backlinks?

Backlinks also called "in-links, inbound links or sharing links" are the links created on a website to another website by using the <a> tag.

How backlinks work?

Suppose website A has given a backlink to website B then crawlers and visitors on website A also visit website B. It depends on the type of backlink whether crawlers will visit another website or not.

If website A gives a Do-Follow backlink to website B, then when crawlers visit website A also sees a Do-Follow backlink and as its name says "Do-Follow" the crawlers also follow this link and goes to website B and consider that website B also have very good content and popularity. Thus, the Domain Authority(DA) and Page Authority(PA) of website B increases. Crawlers do not follow the No-Follow backlink, you only get visitors/traffic on your website.

How to make backlinks to our website/blog?

Making or earning links to your website is known as "link building". Professional bloggers generally follow a link building strategy or use paid backlinks. For beginners, it is recommended to build backlink from free sources by commenting or by getting a profile backlink. Each time when you visit a website/blog go in the comment section and make a backlink. Some websites do not give backlinks this way but sometimes you get backlinks. Make backlinks on high domain authority and high page authority sites only because this will rapidly increase your website's Domain Authority and Page Authority. Profile backlinks are created when you sign up to any website where you get an option to add your website, this gives you No-Follow backlink sometimes  Do-follow backlink. To create backlink by commenting you need to use this tag.
